June Neighborhood Association Meeting Agenda

Here's the June Neighborhood Association Agenda! A few activities to get involved in as we get ready for summer! Foster Road Streetscape Plan is headed towards City Council for approval on Wednesday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall ( 1221 SW 4th Ave). Voice your  support or concerns over this project by attending the council meeting  to give your three minutes of testimony or submit an email to any of the Councilors. Get ready to put on your sneakers and kick the big red ball around! Foster Streetscape Plan headed to City Council & Happy Hour Afterwards!

If you have been following the Foster Streetscape Project, you will probably know that the planning phase of it is just about completed. A final version of the updated plan has been completed and has undergone public review and commenting and it will be discussed at a City Council meeting on Thursday May 29 at 2:00 pm (at City Hall) . The plan calls for a lot of improvements to occur on Foster Road, making it a saver, nicer, and friendlier street for people traveling on it, trying to cross it, visit or operate a business on or near it and just in general for all the neighborhoods around it and for the people of Portland. If you can somehow attend the City Council meeting and are willing to speak in support of the plan that would be awesome. If you can’t make it yourself, but know of others that can attend and would like to make a brief statement in support of the plan; please encourage them to do so!
