There will be a Special Board Meeting next Wednesday, March 26 from 6:15 -7:00 p.m. at O'Malleys (66th and Foster).

We will be reviewing and discussing our neighborhood goals and taking action on two items:
1) A funding request for the SE Neighborhood Emergency Preparedness Workshop, and
2) A SEUL Community Engagement Grant Application to be submitted for the 2014 SE Portland Neighborhood Kickball Tournament. We hope to see 6 surrounding neighborhood associations collaborating to bring a Family Friendly Kickball game to your neighborhood park this summer.

Which neighborhood will be crowned the 2014 SE Portland Neighborhood Kickball Champs? GO MSA!

City of Portland Budget Hearing May 17th

Join Mayor Adams and City Council at the City of Portland Budget Hearing on Thursday, May 17. This is an opportunity to testify about the 2012-13 Mayor’s Proposed Budget and provide your input to City Council. Thursday, May 17, 2012, 6:30-8:30 PM David Douglas High School 1001 SE 135th Ave. Portland, OR 97233 Sign-in at 6:30 PM. Testimony on the proposed Portland Development Commission (PDC) budget begins at 6:30 PM.  Testimony on the Proposed Budget for the City of Portland immediately follows. Testimony will be a maximum of two minutes, based on the number of people testifying.  Testimony order will be by random drawing. If you wish to testify, but your name is not drawn, you can submit comments in writing. Online comments are accepted and can be accessed from the budget website listed below. Mt. Scott-Arleta Movie in the Park

Join us Friday night, August 6th for the MSA Movie in the Park at Mt. Scott Park . Pre-movie activities start at 6:30pm. There'll be booths featuring local organizations, food, music and the ever popular Rock Climbing Wall. The movie starts at dusk. Bring a blanket, a picnic and your friends as we celebrate National Night Out. Movie will be The Princess Bride .
