STREET SEATS!

Innovative uses for on-street parking spaces

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) has released the 2014 Street Seat program guidelines and application requirements.
Applications for new locations and permit renewals for existing locations will be accepted through March 1, 2014.  Street Seat PhotoStreet Seats is a PBOT program that allows businesses and non-profit organizations to convert on-street parking to other public uses, such as cafe seating or a mini-park. Based on similar programs in San Francisco and New York City, the program enlivens the streetscape by creating spaces for Portlanders to enjoy seating and a meal or a drink outdoors, which in turn enhances street vitality and benefits local businesses.

HELP WANTED!
Hello everybody,

Do you want to help get the word out about neighborhood events?

Interested in graphics (posters, events, etc.), writing or newsletter* creation?

After 4 years of being the Mt. Scott-Arleta's communications lead I am stepping away in the coming year, so I'd really love to have someone pick up the slack. Anyone, anyone? It's time for me to focus on my emerging design business and I will still be on the MSA and Foster Area Business Association Boards.
Email me or give me a call! Terah Beth |  terahbeth@tbbvdesign.com  |  971.404.9864
