Available for the Lents Urban Renewal Area (which includes both sides of Foster Rd.) From the website: "These grants support a wide variety of community benefits: historic preservation, open spaces and gardens, community and cultural centers, social services, job training, and the growth of local businesses. All interested applicants are required to attend a mandatory workshop to learn more about project eligibility, completing the application, and the evaluation and selection process...for Lents Town Center, March 7, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at SE Works."
BES Community Watershed Stewardship Grant

From the website: "The Community Watershed Stewardship Program (CWSP) is a partnership between Portland Environmental Services and Portland State University. The program engages Portlanders in enhancing the health of our watersheds while promoting public awareness of our connection to these natural systems. We offer funding for community projects, help with project planning, and assist in connecting community groups with resources for their projects...
Community Watershed Stewardship Grants provide up to $10,000 to schools, churches, businesses and other community organizations for projects that connect people with watersheds and protect and enhance watershed health. These annual grants are funded through a competitive process based on the merits of the project and CWSP goals for watershed and community benefit"
EMSWCD ‘Small Project & Community Events’ (SPACE) Grant

From the website: "The Small Projects and Community Events (SPACE) Program provides grants of up to $1500 to support conservation projects, conservation education, and community events that promote natural resource conservation. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, and Native American tribes.
The types of projects/events that are eligible for SPACE Program funding include on-the-ground restoration or conservation projects, pollution prevention projects, education of youth and/or adults, and community events focused on improving the public’s understanding of natural resource conservation."
